GRASS GETTER is a selective systemic grass killer to eliminate existing weedy grasses growing in and around plant beds, landscapes, and individual shrubs and trees (See Tolerant Plants). GRASS GETTER can be used through a hose- end sprayer according to the directions of the sprayers used or through a tank- type sprayer. GRASS GETTER can also be used around listed fruit and vegetable areas (see Table 2) wherever listed weedy grasses occur. Use only tank type sprayers. WEEDY GRASSES CONTROLLED: GRASS GETTER kills most annual and hard-to-kill perennial grasses up to 1-foot high, including the following examples, in one or two applications. Younger, actively growing seedling weeds are more easily killed than older, mature, well-established grassy weeds that may require a repeat application for control. Adding oil concentrate may help control grassy weeds. • POSTEMERGENCE GRASS KILLER - Grass Getter controls grassy weeds in bedding plants, ornamentals, ground covers, shrubs, and vegetables.
• KILLS WEEDS - this systemic herbicide kills most Annual and hard-to-kill Perennial grasses, as well as hard to control species such as Crabgrass, Bermudagrass, Foxtail, Goosegrass, Johnsongrass, Quackgrass and other listed grassy weeds. It will not control nutsedge (nutgrass), annual bluegrass (poa annua) or broadleaf weeds.
• SPRAY OVER THE TOP - This systemic selective herbicide kills unwanted and unsightly weedy grass vegetation down to the root without injuring desirable plants in your yard. Can be applied over listed ornamental plants and trees to control unwanted grassy weeds growing amongst them. Not for use in lawn areas.
• EASY TO USE – Grass Getter should be applied when grassy weeds are actively growing. Warm sunny weather will accelerate systemic movement from leaves and stems down to the roots to give complete kill. When applied in cooler temperatures Grass Getter will take up to 3 weeks to kill weeds.
• MIX & SPRAY – For best control, simply mix Grass Getter concentrate with a surfactant/oil concentrate (like Monterey Herbicide Helper) and water and spray on to flowerbeds, groundcovers or in garden areas. Addition of a surfactant/oil concentrate helps the Grass Getter penetrate the surface of the weed for better weed control.
